So, last week Dulux announced their Colour of the year for 2021 – Brave Ground – and it’ll be no surprise to anyone that’s read my blog/ seen my home, that I love it! It’s a warm, natural, neutral – perfect as an accent colour or go for the full neutral dream and paint everything in it!
It’s definitely a timeless colour, which can be used in a number of different interior styles – modern, contemporary, scandi, japandi, classic – you name it, Brave Ground can work in your home!
It would also work in every single room in your home. Shown above in a dining room with their coty 2019 Spiced Honey.
I think it looks beautiful paired with this deep blue, bringing in the warmth and adding its’ neutral tones to contrast perfectly.
I think it looks amazing here in this office set up – they’ve used tonal shades here but imagine it all in Brave Ground?!
Let’s ignore the colours in the photo above for a second – this is a great way for renters to get a panelled wall look without having to ask their landlord to make any changes – and you can take it with you when you go! Amazing.
Another way to use tonal neutrals to create a really modern and minimalist feature. This arch detail looks great paired with Brave Ground and helps to break up a full colour wall and to zone the space with subtle detail.
Can we just take a moment for how versatile Brave Ground is please? How great does it look with this pink/coral?! It’s such a rich colour but doesn’t take away any focus, I think I’m in love!
