It’s the time of year that I like to reevaluate my homeware accessories. Is it cosy? – no? – into storage. Does it make me feel warm and fuzzy inside? – no? – into storage. Does it make me feel fancy and festive? – no? – into storage… you get the idea. I like to bring back all the faux fur throws, extra throw cushions and fancy crockery/ glassware etc around the time the temperature starts to drop. Obviously that doesn’t mean that I don’t buy new winter accessories every year – enter dwell.
If you’re looking for a one stop shop for your winter homeware, look no further than dwell. Whether you’re looking for new cushions to get cosy on the sofa with, or fancy wine glasses to bring out at your annual friends Christmas dinner, you’ll definitely find something you’ll love.
They’ve got huge selections of sofas, armchairs and furniture if you’re planning some more drastic changes to your home this winter. I’ve got my eye on one of their sofas for when I hopefully move house next year. They’re really reasonably priced and such amazing quality – they have a store about 10 minutes away from my house and I always make sure to pop in whenever I’m in need of some interior inspiration.
I thought I’d share a few of my favourite winter accessories from their website, to help inspire any impending winter purchases. There’s even a really handy feature on each product page where it shows which store the item is available to go have a look at, just in case you need any more convincing!
If any of these tickle your fancy, just click the product image and it will take you straight to it! Happy shopping!
I love all of these cushions for different reasons. The first is just a classic, luxurious looking ‘basic’ cushion – a perfect addition to any cosy sofa set up. The middle one is just super glam (anyone else obsessed with two-way sequins?!) and perfect for if you love adding little touches of sparkle to your winter decor. The faux fur cushion is similar to one I have, it’s a great way of adding in texture and warmth.
So, this is my little ‘party time’ selection. Just look how beautiful these gold bottomed Champagne glasses are! Think how instagramable they’d be on your dining table… This copper wine rack is definitely something I need in my life, a lovely little home for all the extra wine you’ll be buying in over the Christmas period. The smoked glass wine glasses are so grand but simple and stylish, I wish I had more room in my cupboards!
This candle holder would be so perfect for a table centrepiece! I love the different heights and sizes of all the different sections. It would work so well on a coffee table too – I really love this. The metallic trend is here to stay, so why not invest in this really unique bison head? It would be such a great statement piece. This gold lantern (which matches those beautiful Champagne glasses from before) is another nod to the ever growing metallic trend, again, another statement piece, this time, just a bit more subtle.
