My Top 6 Summer Boots

I love boots, I wear them 90% of the time. I love wearing them with jeans, skirts, dresses and whatever else I can get my hands on. I love wearing a really girly summer dress and toughening it up with a pair of biker style boots. As I said… I love boots. Don’t get my wrong, there is definitely a place for sandals in my shoedrobe, but I just think there’s something a bit ‘cool’ about wearing them in Summer… or is that just me?!

I thought I’d do a little list of my top 6 (random number I know…) summer boots to inspire you (and me) any maybe pop in a little bit about how I’d style them up and how much I love them…

1. MAGGIE Suede Ankle Boots

I don’t even think I need to say why I love these boots… but I’ll go ahead anyway… The heel height is a perfect 3 inch, the colour oozes summer and everyone and their mum is obsessed with blush tones at the moment (me included obvs). I’d probably style these with a pair of light wash mom/ boyfriend jeans and a floaty white top.

2. MADAME Embroidery Ankle Boots

Heavily jumping on the gingham trend here , with a bonus of the much loved embroidery trend throw in too – double whammy! These boots are actually HALF PRICE at the moment at a purse friendly £45… go go go! These are a total statement boot, so I’d style very simply, jeans and a tshirt, or a plain black dress.

3. ASOS EFFORTLESS Ankle Boots

I’m just a little bit obsessed with the print on these.. I love the bow detail at the back. Again, a big statement boot, so I’d style it with a plain dress or jeans and pick out one of the blues for accessories.

4. ASOS ANTIGUA Suede Festival Boots

These are pretty much the PERFECT summer boot. They’ve got those seeerious festival vibes with the pom poms and braided detail. Perfect for wearing with a pair of denim shorts or a girly summer dress.

5. ASOS ASHLEIGH Leather Studded Ankle Boots

These are the kind of boots I love toughening up a pretty summer dress. I love the belt style details across the font. They’ve obviously got the Givenchy style, which everywhere is copying, but for £60, why wouldn’t you go high street?!

6. River Island Frill Detail Open Toe Boots

I think I’m in love with these boots… These are the perfect boot for a summer night out. They’re a beautiful mink colour, open toe, open ankle, frilled… the dream! I definitely think there’s something masculine about these boots.. frills don’t usually spell masculine, but I think there’s something really tough about these?
