Whilst I’m having a bit of a break from renovating (any big projects anyway), I’m trying to fully plan each room so that I know what’s coming next and what I need to source etc. So here’s my spare bedroom moodboard.

So I’ll be keeping the Besley bed from Made.com that I had in my old main bedroom, there’s nothing wrong with it and upholstered beds are expensive so I’d rather not add that expense to this project!
Woodwork, coving and ceiling I’m thinking of using All Inclusive by Coat paints, I’ve used their paints before and am a just fan of the quality. It’s a lovely, grown up grey/ blue and I think will go perfectly in this south facing room.
Wallpaper – I would LOVE this Sandberg wallpaper but as I’m planning on doing the whole room, it might not be possible with the budget.
These bedside tables are from TKMaxx, I think they add a nice sense of warmth to the space and would be a great addition to the room. They’ll replace some painted IKEA malm drawers that I’ve had for years and definitely are passed their best.
The flooring is the same I used in my main bedroom makeover, just a simple oak effect laminate, cheap and cheerful!
The ceiling light I’ve used in this spare bedroom moodboard is from Dunelm and I think sits quite nicely against the blue paint and wallpaper.
Cushions, I’ll be hoping to use what I already have… but might have to treat the room to something new too.
I’ll be getting built in wardrobes into the alcoves so there’ll be plenty of storage, even though it’s only a spare bedroom!
