Everyone knows that The Body Shop are the kings of high street skin care, so when I received this *trio of goodies, I couldn’t wait to try them out. It’s all basically to celebrate their new ‘Oils of Life’ collection, a 5 step routine, designed to revitalise your skin. Step 1 is the Essence Oil, Step 2 is the *Eye Cream Gel (you’ll see this in a sec), Step 3 is the Oil, Step 4 is the Cream or Cream Gel and Step 5 is the Sleeping Cream – so pretty much anything your skin could ever need.

So Step 2 in the Oils of Life collection – *The Eye Cream Gel was included in my little box. It’s a combination of 3 precious seed oils, Black Cumin Seed Oil (concentrated antioxidants), Camellia Seed Oil (rich in oleic acid) & Rosehip Seel Oil (rich in omega 3 & 6).

You can use it daily, or leave it on for 5 minutes and use it as a mask if your eyes really need a pick-me-up. It’s a really thick, gel like texture, the way I like my eye creams to feel. It feels super nourishing, and I just know, the more I use it, the better the results are gunna be. 90% of people have said their dark circles appeared to fade, 87% said their wrinkles appeared smoother and 96% said their skin appeared revived and radiant – what more could you want? RRP £20.

The other 2 bits in my box were a surprise – first of all, who knew that The Body Shop did candles?! It’s part of their Spa of The World collection – this is the *Japanese Camellia scent. Let’s be honest, i’m a candle addict so I was gunna love this wherever it came from. It’s not a super strong scent, it’s one that you’d light while you had a nice relaxing bath to ‘set the scene’ – the perfect candle. It’s made from Rapeseed and Shea Butter candle wax, so all completely natural and totally soothing. It retails for £16 and has a burn time of 34 hours, which is pretty impressive.

And lastly, this lovely tub of *Atlantic Seaweed Gel Cream (which my sister has already stolen). It’s so fresh – I have no idea what seaweed actually smells like, but if it smells like this cream, i love it. It’s a really thick but light, silky smooth cream, perfect for slathering all over your body and letting it revitalise your skin. It’s not greasy at all, it was being passed around my family yesterday and they all loved it! It retails for £23, and is definitely something I would recommend.
