My Obsession with Homesense + Competition

If you follow me on instagram (come on, you know you want to) you’ll have seen that I was invited down to the new Homesense store in Leeds earlier in the week. Along with some other lovely bloggers, we got the chance to have a sneaky peek at their huge new store. It’s on the Headrow, at the top of Briggate in the city centre, and honestly, it’s where homeware dreams are made. I’ve always loved Homesense, their Birstall store is right next to my gym and vets, so I accidentally find myself in there quite often. If you’re not familiar with Homesense, it’s the sister company of TKMaxx, so it’s basically their home section, but bigger and better. It’s full of things you don’t usually see on the highstreet, special one/two-off pieces that really help to set your interiors apart from everyone else.

I’ve got a real passion for interiors and interior styling. I love going homeware shopping, I watch all of the home makeover shows, I’m constantly on pinterest, I’m stocking up on interior styling coffee table books and my house is constantly changing as I find new pieces. So when I was invited down to the new store, I knew I’d be picking myself at least a few pieces up.

This copper geometric candle holder was probably the first thing I spied as I walked in the doors, at £4.99, it was a no brainer for me. It also helps to fuel my candle obsession, having somewhere swanky to burn my beloved fig scented votives in…

This baby pink hexagonal box was bought with no real purpose in mind, apart from looking super cute, obviously! I’m planning on using it as a blog prop (obvs) and keeping jewellery in when I need some added storage space for all my little bits. It was £2.99 and also came in blue, with larger sizes available as well.

This patterned stationery tray was bought with pen and stationery storage in mind, to clear space in my desk draw for other desky type things. It matches my desk ‘aesthetic’, and this is probably my favourite area of my house, so keeping it stocked with pretty things is always a must!

I also got some other bits, but they’re presents.. .so shh!

Love the copper candle holder. Think they still have some in August/September?
