After deciding I seriously needed to up my skincare game, it was a definite yes when an email landed in my inbox from The Body Shop asking if I wanted to try out their range of masks*. Multi-masking is all the rage on instagram at the moment, you’ll have seen your favourite beauty bloggers snapping themselves looking a liiiittle bit crazy, but be assured, they’re doing it for a reason. I love the idea of being able to tailor your routine to your skin type and being able to treat problem areas and look after the others at the same time. It’s a skincare trend that I’m 100% on board with – anything I can personalise is a yes from me!
They’re inspired by traditional beauty recipes from around the world and are packed with beauty superfoods to help you feel amazing in your skin. There are 5 different masks in the range, all offering a 100% Vegetarian helping hand to your face, purifying, nourishing, plumping, energising and cleansing – you name it, these masks can help I find the Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask perfect for my t-zone, to help unclog those nasty pores and get rid of some of that excess oil with the British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask on my cheeks. The Ethiopian Honey Deep Nourishing Mask is great for when my nose gets a bit dry to help give it a moisture boost and the Chinese Ginseng & Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask for when my skin tone needs evening out and the Amazonian Acai Energising Radiance Mask for when it needs brightening up a bit.
Want to hear my favourite part about the new mask range? There’s a brush to help you apply it all! There’s nothing I hate more than getting all the gooey stuff under my fingernails, call me a diva, I don’t care – The Body Shop have solved my problem and for that, I’m eternally grateful. The Body Shop is always a brand, I’ll recommend, they make products that look after the environment, care for your skin and offer advice to help you get the best out of your skin routine.
