I’m going to do a ‘Favourites’ series, with everything from clothing stores (this post) to foods and everything in between.
So my favourite clothing stores… here we go:
ASOS – always my go-to online shop. I’ve shopped with ASOS for years, since they were As Seen On Screen, in fact. They used to categorise their products by celebrities, helping you to emulate their style, how times have changed! Their own brand collections are always great quality, on trend and usually within my price range. They also offer a wide range of other brands now, which is a great way of shopping for everything ‘under one roof’. With next day delivery blowing my mind every time and a huge range for Tall ladies, I can’t see my ASOS addiction stopping any time soon.
New Look – now this is an usual one for me, I think some stores go through phases, and at the moment, New Look is killing it (in my opinion). The central Leeds store, is quite frankly, rubbish. It’s so small and poorly laid out that it just makes me want to leave as soon as I walk through the doors. However, I live really close to a good size shopping centre, and the New Look there is MUCH better. I often call in after work and there’s always something in there that I want/need. The queue is always massive but sometimes you’ve just gotta wait it out to get what you want.
Topshop – well, it’s always going to be a favourite of mine. Although the Tall section seems to be shrinking, there’s no denying Topshop is one of the leaders in the highstreet fashion industry. With their celebrity collections and huge range of denim, there’s always some ‘must-have’ that everyone has. There is a HUGE store in the centre of Leeds, you can easily get lost in there for hours – great fun, just not so much fun for my bank balance!
Zara – sooo many pretty things in Zara. Another place I’ve shopped in for years, although I really think they’ve got the price point just right recently. They have so many classic and quality pieces that you can wear for seasons, rather than just the one-off night out with the girls. They do really well in Winter too, I have so many jumpers, scarves and wooly bits that I bring out time and time again as soon as it starts to get a bit chilly.
These are my current favourites, do you agree? What are your favourites?
