You might be screaming at your computer/phone while you read the title of this post, but it’s happening. I’m ready for Christmas, well, mentally, not quite physically yet, but I’m getting there. The arrival of these insanely beautiful baubles from Amara* really did bring a little festive shiver down my spine, how could they not?! I don’t really think I was prepared for Christmas last year, It was the first year I’d been able to decorate exactly how I wanted and I was a bit overwhelmed and ended up only decorating my tree. The rest of the house was quite wintery, but not festive – and that’s something I definitely want to rectify this year.
I’ve been reading Styled by Emily Henderson and have realised the importance of vignettes.. (a new word for me – basically, styled set ups showing your style and personality) and am really keen to get styling some Christmas themed vignettes all over my house this year. That was the idea behind this set of photos showing off my new Amara decorations*, I hope I’ve managed to do them justice! It’s still a bit too early for my Christmas tree (forcing myself to wait until it’s December), so some of these baubles might move across to the tree when it’s up, but for now, I love the effect this £3 light up star from Poundworld has against these beautiful decorations.
They have four different collections this year: Hideaway (Scandi and Nordic), Kitschmas (colourful & playful), Winter Blush(Elegant and ethereal) and Midnight Jewel (Glamorous & elegant). Each collection is full of stunningly beautiful decorations, perfect for a multitude of decor styles. You can obviously tell I went for the Hideaway and Winter Blush collections, cause you know, blush and Scandi and my thing.
The beautiful pink and gold detailed baubles are so stunning in person. The texture and detail is perfect for my Christmas colour scheme.
The cute faux fur star is a lovely addition of texture to this little vignette, It’s something you could keep out all winter and match to your faux fur cushions.
The effect these folded paper decorations (the large size is linked, mine are in the small which has sold out) give is beautiful, they’re so intricate, but simple at the same time.
The star of the show for me is the pink fluffy bauble (similar here, mine is sold out). I would never have said I was a girly girl, but when I saw this on the Amara website, I knew I needed it in my life.
Amara stock so many different brands and it’s a great place to look for interior inspiration. They show amazing interior styling throughout the website, really helping to bring the products to life.
